Netzsch Pumps USA will be showcasing its line of complex fluid handling solutions for mining applications at SME MINEXCHANGE this year.

The event, which takes place in Denver on February 23–26, includes courses, speakers and mining technology and equipment displays.

Netzsch will reveal its Nemo Progressing Cavity Pump, Tornado T2 Rotary Lobe Pump, Peripro Peristaltic Pumps, Notos Multi Screw Pumps, and Mine Dewatering Skids, built for underground mines that require a small and compact movable unit to address their dewatering challenges.

Nemo pumps are designed to work safely with emulsified or liquid explosives. The Tornado T2 Rotary Lode Pump is a self-priming, valve-less pump designed to be reliable and durable as well as easy to maintain, with a low life-cycle cost, according to Netzsch. It has recently been re-engineered to maximise uptime.

Notso multi-screw pumps are designed to work reliably with SAG mills and ball mills, where consistent, continuous lubrication is essential. Meanwhile, Peripro Peristaltic Pumps are targeted at demanding applications. They have large rollers designed for longer service life and are designed for use with complex fluids, such as abrasive, corrosive, viscous and delicate products, Netzsch said.

Netzsch pumps are available for a wide range of flow and pressure capabilities, the company says. These pump types as well as the dewatering skid tank can be constructed from carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and Halar/rubber-lined steel, depending on application needs.

All Netzsch mining pump solutions are "rugged, reliable and easy to maintain", according to the company, which has operated in the sector for more than 60 years.
