Massenza Drilling Rigs is excited to announce that in 2025 it will be present at two of the most important international exhibitions in the drilling industry: bauma 2025 and Solscope 2025. These two events provide an unmissable opportunity to discover the company's latest innovations and connect with industry professionals.

With over 100 years of experience, Massenza is a leader in the drilling field. It has been designing and manufacturing drilling rigs since 1921, continuously striving for innovation to improve the quality and efficiency of its production. Its facilities, fully designed and assembled in Italy, are synonymous with quality and reliability, thanks to a rigorous selection of components and continuous in-house testing processes.

Massenza's participation in the two international trade shows this year, thanks to the company's strategic location near France and Germany, represents a unique opportunity to showcase the innovations it has developed as it continues listening to the needs of the market, blending progress with tradition.

Bauma 2025

Bauma is the major global event for the construction machinery and civil engineering equipment sector, and for Massenza it is a fundamental opportunity to show its growth and its commitment to providing increasingly efficient and innovative solutions.

Solscope 2025

Solscope, which takes place in Lyon, June 18-19, 2025, is a key trade show for the geotechnical, drilling, and special foundation sectors. It is a valuable occasion to establish relationships, stay updated on the latest trends, and exchange ideas with industry professionals.

A unique experience at Massenza's stands

Massenza is looking forward to welcoming show visitors to its stands, where they can get a first-hand look at the most advanced innovations in the company's drilling rigs. But that is not all: Massenza has planned a complete experience enriched by a friendly atmosphere and the warmth typical of Italian hospitality. It will offer exclusive gadgets and a relaxing space where visitors can enjoy coffee and appetisers. This is an unmissable opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and get to know Massenza's offerings in partnership with Terra Sonic International.

At bauma 2025 the stand's location will be FN622/14 in the outdoor area and at Solscope it will be D1.

A competitive and reliable partner: Terra Sonic International

At bauma, Massenza will share its stand with Terra Sonic International, a leader in the sonic drilling field. The collaboration, launched in 2021, has allowed the two operators to develop even more advanced and efficient rigs, designed to expand in a constantly growing market.

TSi 150AC-8, developed in partnership with Terra Sonic International, this is a project that combines Massenza's MM8 model with Terra Sonic International's sonic rotary head. Massenza's MM8 is much more than just a versatile drilling rig with its optimised tilt system and range of rotary heads for drilling, it is particularly suitable for applications such as micropiles and anchors. Features on the TSi 150AC-8 include:

·       A sonic rotary head by Terra Sonic International with tilting

·       Maximum pull up force at the head 17,985lbf (80kN) – Maximum pull down force at the head 10,566lbf (58kN)

·       Manual service winch with steel cable Ø 1/4in (6mm), max direct pull 764lbf (3kN)

·       Triplex pump with hydraulic motor

·       Laser infrared cage

The TSi 150CC-E, once again created in partnership with Terra Sonic International, is a new system designed to offer true sonic drilling at maximum power. Features on this rig include:

·       Double-speed crawler chassis

·       Longitudinal and lateral antenna movement: mast adjustment left/right and front/back for precise positioning above the drill hole, 6in (150mm) travel in both directions

·       Mast for 3m (10ft) drill pipes: capacity 26,980lbf (120kN)

·       Triplex pump with hydraulic motor

·       Maximum pull force at the head 17,985lbf (80kN) – maximum pull down force at the head 10,566lbf (58kN)

·       Telescoping arm mounted on the top of the antenna to lift drill pipes from the box

·       Core head and sonic head by Terra Sonic International

·       Automatic SPT penetrometer installed on the drill rig's antenna

·       Automatic rod and pipe loader arm at the front of the rig for safe and quick operations

Massenza Drilling Rigs innovations on display

At bauma 2025, visitors will have the opportunity to see Massenza's most innovative machines in action. Every Massenza rig is customised to meet specific needs, resulting from careful design aimed at ensuring quality, precision, and reliability in every application.

One such example is the MM4 2727, another drill rig from the company's MM series, offering the possibility of 360-degree mast rotation and 180-degree mast lateral rotation. It is equipped with:

·       New Deutz TCD 3.6 80kW diesel engine for better product quality

·       Max pull up 45kN – Max pull down 45kN

·       Massenza double hydraulic clamp with a maximum pass-through diameter of 280mm (11in)

·       Massenza rotary head – Max torque 5693Nm – Max speed 399rpm

·       Foam/water pump

Massenza's fully remote-controlled model, designed for the geotechnical sector, is the Mi2 2714. This model is mounted on a crawler chassis and features a max pull up of 2650daN (5958lbf), pull down max of 2650daN (5958lbf), and an automatic SPT system, hydraulic hammer, and foam/water. The Mi2 weighs 2650kg and is easily transportable on a trailer with a pulling capacity of 3500kg.

Mounted on a crawler chassis with a hydraulic control panel on the arm, the Mi5 2660 stands out for its compactness, reduced dimensions, and high technical features. It can be used for various applications; water wells, geothermal applications, geotechnical and environmental surveys, coring, and micropiles.

This new Mi5 is ready for discovery with unique features specifically requested by the client:
