While remaining proud of its previous innovations, Eijkelkamp SonicSampDrill continues to seek to stretch boundaries and is committed to continual improvement. In order to meet those aims and to make CPT operations easier, Eijkelkamp SonicSampDrill is introducing the BC100 Boxed CPT Crawler.

Operation and maintenance friendliness are key factors in the design of the latest machine from the Netherlands-based business. Eijkelkamp SonicSampDrill believes that SonicCPT will be a key element in opening up new applications and cite operations such as soil sampling and the installation of small diameter wells as viable options for the new BC100 Boxed CPT Crawler, which with Sonic option will be the ideal setup for the sonic prove cone SonicCPT.

The BC100 Boxed CPT Crawler unit is designed according to meet the latest technical standards. To comply with different emission regulations applicable worldwide, the BC100 Boxed CPT Crawler can be equipped with different power options. Purchasers will have the choice of power units; a diesel Tier-3a / Stage-III interim, a Tier 5 / Stage-V, CNG or hybrid (electric combined with diesel or CNG).

As with all Eijkelkamp SonicSampDrill products, which are designed to be safer and more ergonomic than the industry standard, all the functions of the BC100 Boxed CPT Crawler are operated from a PLC touch screen to make the unit user-friendly and to boost production.

In order to bring the BC100 Boxed CPT Crawler to market, high-quality components have been designed and selected to ensure product reliability. Before the rigs leave the Eijkelkamp SonicSampDrill factory they will be put through a series of field tests to ensure that they can handle the challenges that buyers are facing out in the field; making the impossible possible.
