The Geosense IPI-X measures both settlement and inclination from a single bore hole

At the show, we will be exhibiting: The Geosense IPI-X, which is growing in popularity as it measures both settlement and inclination from a single borehole. This means half the number of boreholes and extra data out of a single borehole.

An in-place inclinometer is combined with a low-power digital magnetic positional sensor inside the adjoining extension rod to monitor both vertical and horizontal displacement in embankments, deep foundations and around tunnels and diaphragm walls.

All the digital sensors are BUSSED together allowing fast and reliable communication and any combination of extension rod lengths (0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 and 2.5m) and IPIs (0.5m) can be used so sensors can be located at the required depths.

Also showcased will be the new GeoCONNECT API which can obtain digital calibration data from the cloud using just two pieces of information - Sensor type and Serial number. Benefits include time-saving, error reduction, paperless and automated calculation.
