The CR25 is an advanced micropile drilling machine designed to perform micro piles, tie-backs, or jet grouting on tough soil conditions. With 62,000lbs of operation weight, it is one of the largest micropile machines in the market. The extendable undercarriage makes it very stable, especially with large diameter micro piles on long mast configuration.
The machine is fully articulated, allowing it to perform tiebacks in various positions. The articulation is extremely robust, with double boom cylinders, and all the parts are manufactured with high-yield Weldox Steel. It has front-of-the-wall kinematics, allowing it to drill parallel to the tracks.
The crowd/pull-back system is integrated into the base mast with a maximum force of 39,680lbs, driven by a motor reducer and chain with an automatic tensioner. With a maximum stroke of 34ft 5in, it can work with long sections of drilling rods.
Double or triple clamps
It can be equipped with double or triple clamps, with 14in or 18in maximum diameters, and sliding clamps as a standard feature, with 39in of stroke and 44,000lbs of pull-back force, making it easier to break casing connections.
The power pack has a Cummins B6.7, Stage V, with 310hp equipped with PMS for reducing fuel consumption and emissions. Along with the 11in touch screen, it is equipped with a complete load-sensing hydraulic system designed for efficient operation, reducing fuel consumption by up to 30% and guaranteeing very high productivity.
The machine can be equipped with a single or double rotary with or without a drifter. The standard rotary has 23,600ft. lbs (32kN.m) of torque, a maximum speed of 168rpm, and a 4-1/2in passage.
State-of-the-art electronic system
The state-of-the-art electronic system allows the operator to manage the entire machine, including general telematics, fault diagnosis, speed customisation, operational security, passive safety, real-time remote control, and remote-control management.
The machine has a range of accessories that can be equipped with, including a variety of carrousels, cranes, water pumps, etc.
The Jet Grouting application can drill up to 100ft (30m) deep, single pass, with integration into a treatment monitoring system for quality control.
