TMG Manufacturing, which is headquartered in Tampa, USA, with additional locations in Florida and Costa Rica, has been building innovative drill rigs for over 18 years, with unsurpassed quality and pricing. TMG currently builds several lines of rigs including micropile and foundation drill rigs, CPT and SPT test rigs, water well rigs and its new Crossover rig, which uniquely combines SPT and CPT testing in one compact rig.

The geotechnical test drill rig line includes geotechnical and environmental soil testing rigs including SPT, wireline core drilling, auger drilling and mud rotary drill rigs. TMG also builds mini CPT test rigs and its innovative combination rig, the CSR line, which combines SPT, wireline core drilling, auger drilling, mud rotary drilling and CPT testing, in one compact and powerful rig. All rigs can be track, trailer or truck mounted.

TMG also caters for the needs of the construction industry with the manufacture of a line of compact micropile and foundation drill rigs. The CGR line is designed for the foundation contractor and is capable of drilling compaction grouting points and installing helical and micro piles.

The CGR rig is available with a 38, 55 or 74hp engine and includes a two-stage mast, built-in mud pump and a four-speed gearbox drill head. The drill head has 9,161ftlbs of torque and a maximum 723rpm, allowing the contractor the versatility to drill many different types of micro piles and helical piles, and is perfect for compaction grouting points.

The 38hp version is small enough to drive through a yard gate and work around tight spaces such as a pool deck or patio. In addition to these powerful rigs, TMG also offers a complete line of tooling and equipment for the compaction grouting and foundation contractor.

TMG manufactures 100 per cent of its rigs, including tracks, mast, frame and gearbox drill head, allowing it strict control on quality and pricing. With the additional benefit of readily available spare parts.

TMG currently has rigs in service in several countries around the world and has had a second manufacturing facility in Costa Rica to service the Central and South American market since 2012.

TMG's main 20,000sqft facility in Tampa is set-up and tailored to manufacture and fabricate a multitude of quality products specifically designed for the geotechnical industry. That location is equipped with precision CNC lathes and mills, robotic welding, plasma cutting machines and a state-of-the-art hydraulic shop. TMG has an in-house test lab allowing it the unique ability to test and certify its products.
