To support the global energy transition another wind farm will be built in 2024 at 50km off the coast of Changhua in Taiwan. A total of 73 offshore wind three-legged jacket foundations will be installed, of which these the IQIP jacket pile grippers will form a substantial part.

The Jacket Pile Grippers systems are designed in accordance with the DNV-OS-J101 regulations for grouted connections. Aside from complying with DNV regulations, the IQIP Jacket Pile Grippers guarantee a temporary fixation, resulting in safe and high operability during offshore installation in an area known for its harsh conditions. The foundations must be able to withstand extreme Taiwanese circumstances such as cyclonic waves, heavy winds, and even earthquake loads.
