The latest version of Fraste's all hydraulic MITO 70 foundation drilling rig now features significant power, measurement and weight increases. These changes make the pivoting rig even more suitable for all civil engineering applications such as micro-piling, tie-backs, anchoring, consolidation and jet grouting.
Now weighing in at 28t, the MITO 70 features a 275hp 205Kw) CAT engines that meet Tier 3 - Tier 4 F emissions standards and allows it to have a maximum rotary head torque of 17,701ftlb (2,800daNm) and a maximum rotary head speed of 190rpm.
The impressive performance figures continue with pull-up and pull-down numbers of 22,480lbf (10,000 daN) in both directions and a rotary head stroke of 12-23ft (4,000-7,000mm).
The greater weight of this new version of the MITO 70 makes it more stable in the drilling stage, thus increasing productivity, reliability and safety. However, the machine is still highly versatile and offers extraordinary features including oscillating tracks to move perfectly in any surface/terrain condition with very fluid Kinematic movements and with the special Fraste techniques and its innovative design articulation system.
A very important feature on the latest version of the rig is the loader for the simultaneous loading of drill pipes and casing pipes that allows very quick working in all positions and with the greatest safety.
The magazine capacity is seven rods and seven casing pipes of different diameters.
A wide range of accessories and different types of rotation heads for different drilling scopes such as double heads systems, drifter, vibro, sonic, etc. are also available. As to are hydraulic hammers, water/mud pumps, drill pipes/casing loading systems, and remote radio control.
