The new site, which includes 30,000sqm of outside space, is located close to the previous production facility at Osimo. Geax chose to stay in the same area due to the highly skilled workforce in that part of Italy. The new production site includes a large office space (>250sqm) and a very large warehouse which enable the company to maintain a high-level of stock components for fast delivery when needed urgent maintenance. In addition, there is a new large space for metalwork fabrication, which allows the in-house production of small and medium components. 

The new site features two assembly lines equipped with modern sliding cranes: a line for very small machines up to 13t, and another one for larger machines from 16 to 31t. A specific closed space for the assembly of the electronic parts has been created, as well as a training centre designed to provide courses for Geax customers and operators on rig operations and maintenance. The new factory has also a large deposit space which allows storing all the finished products inside. 

Following the opening of the new factory, Geax will now increase in production with more efficient assembly and better internal organisation to guarantee a  faster response to customer needs.
