Geoprobe has announced the opening this summer of its fourth rig service centre, which will be located in Hickory, North Carolina, US.

Top service is one of our organisation's key founding objectives

"Top service is one of our organisation's key founding objectives that we've been building on since 1987," Darren Stanley, Geoprobe service director, said.

The North Carolina location is strategically located halfway between its existing Ocala, Florida, and Oxford, Pennsylvania, rig service locations, making it easier for customers to get genuine Geoprobe service rig service support.

The exact opening date for the new location is not set yet as Geoprobe is still setting up the facility, but the company is starting out strong with Todd Courbot as the location manager and Trevin Bolick as the operation's first rig specialist. Many Geoprobe customers know Courbot, who has been on the Geoprobe team for more than 24 years, and Bolick joins with vast experience supporting drilling equipment for 15 years. A significant portion of Bolick's time was spent supporting Schramm drilling rigs in a multi-state region surrounding North Carolina.
