Many (extreme) scenarios have been simulated by Fundex using its own simulator, resulting in a very clear indicator that increases awareness and therefore safety. The development of the LMI is a great added value for Fundex Equipment foundation rigs to increase safety regarding the stability of the machine for the operator.

The capacity tables are calculated in the LMI programme by means of pressure sensors in outriggers, distance measurement in the sliding table, inclination positions, leader/rotary head position with the entered weight values, permitted ground pressure and mechanical limitations.

The operator receives visual and acoustic warnings via a colour display about what is and is not allowed. The LMI data is stored and can be viewed via MYRIX (our online machine portal).

The LMI is an indicator and as such it does not intervene in the machine operation because it then becomes very difficult to correct in certain situations.

This system is available for both new and existing Fundex Equipment machines.
