Eneco is developing this wind farm of 22 turbines with a capacity of more than 100MW by order of Rijkswaterstaat.

This project contributes to making the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management energy neutral and will be a highly innovative onshore wind farm generating more than 400GWh of green energy per year from 2023 onwards.

Maasvlakte 2 is an ideal location for onshore wind. There is always strong wind and there are no houses nearby. On the beach, monopiles will be installed using our Hydrohammer for the 12 wind turbines. The other 10 wind turbines will be built on the so-called hard seawall, on top of the dike, with pile foundations.
