On a recent project, the DAT TinyLog was installed on a drilling rig that is being used to create the new foundations for a building under construction close to Lake Como. On this site, workers are having to work in an open field and contend with mud and rain as they build the foundations for the bases to create a new civil building in one of the most enchanting places and lakes of the Italian peninsula.

The building company has consolidated the ground where the new building is planned by installing continuous flight auger (CFA) piles. During their construction a DAT TinyLog data logger was installed on the Soilmec R-312 drilling rig being used and, thanks to its very important help, it has been useful in order to certify the perfect execution of the piles on this site.

After the piling work was completed, the construction company was able to give comprehensive reports to the contractor certifying that the work has been carried out in a proper way.

In addition to reports about work carried out, when a DAT TinyLog is used it is possible to add all graphics of parameters necessary to the correct execution of continuous flight auger piles.

The DAT product specification for this application included a DAT TinyLog data logger, JET DEPTH depth sensor, JET TORQUE torque rotation speed sensor, JET ROT rotation speed sensor, JET PRESS cement pressure sensor, a JET FLOW W24 wireless sensor for piston pump flow, and an internet-enabled DAT REMOTE data transfer system.
