Fraste has designed the Mito 40 CS rig specifically for use on construction projects in very limited and restricted locations, including subways, tunnels, airports, underground lines, railways, bridges, and inside buildings of all types.

While widely used within the construction industry for all foundation works, micro-piles, tie bars, anchoring, the Mito 40 CS can also be applied to mineral exploration, diamond coring and conventional drilling.

The main feature of the rig is its compactness that gives the unit an excellent ratio of performance compared to dimensions. The 120hp diesel engine of the remote power pack gives all the needed power; while the possibilities of the all-hydraulic movement of the mast articulation guarantee a wide versatility of use by lateral and parallel drilling to the travel direction, on both sides of the unit, without any manual intervention of the operator.

The rig's extendable rubber crawler allows a low footprint and doors crossing with a 780mm minimum width.

Safety for the operator and service personnel alike is assured under any drilling phases as the Mito 40 CS is designed as to meet EU safety standards and is manufactured under ISO 9001 quality requirements.
