On June 4 - 6, 2019, ECA hosted a Customer Appreciation Day at its equipment yard in Green Cove Springs, Florida; also the home for the new Bauer Drill Rig Operator Training Facility. It was a private event and held exclusively for customers to see, touch and operate the new Bauer BG 33 V BT 85, which is the first delivered to the North American market.

After seeing the drill rig, one client said, "One of the most interesting features that caught my attention was the new Multi Remote that can be used to fully assemble the machine. This allows the operator to be right in the line of sight during assembly to keep from pinching winch cables and other damage that usually occurs during assembly and disassembly. Another feature is the wide, single lay drum that is capable of over 2,000 hours on the same cable versus. 500 hours on a standard triple lay winch. Saving replacement cables and down time."

Gordian Ulrich director of Bauer Products and Service for ECA organised the event along with his colleagues Chris Recke, John Hayes, and Trey Carver (service manager), and he said: "Our goal with the Customer Appreciation Day was to invite some of our best customers and highlight the new BG 33 V BT 85, the most technically advanced drill rig in the United States."

Also assisting in the success of this event from Bauer Maschinen GmbH, Germany were Stefan Bachhuber and Simon Biber from the product management of PremiumLine.
