Skelair International expands contract drilling and blasting team

Contract drilling and blasting specialist, Skelair International has appointed Mike Kincart as shotfirer and explosive supervisor, the move follows-on from the promotion of the former explosive supervisor, Gary McGuire, to the role of drill and blast manager within Skelair.

Kincart brings over 30 years of experience within the quarrying industry to Skelair, having previously held the position of senior blasting engineer at BAM Ritchies. Kincart has an extensive understanding of the industry along with a series of awards and memberships from industry bodies.

Undertaking daily duties of surveying, shot firing and supervising explosive activities, Kincart's versatility, understanding of the working environment and organisational skills will be unparalleled as the drilling and blast team work on developing new and existing clients.

Gary McGuire, drill and blast manager at Skelair International said: "I am very pleased to have Mike Kincart join our contract drilling and blasting team.
