Deepcore Drilling is a privately-owned drilling business that provides services to the mining and infrastructure industries, specialising in highly technical underground mobile drilling, diamond drilling, acoustic and deep directional drilling.

In a statement, Mitchell Service said the acquisition is strategically and financially compelling given Deepcore's specialist product offering and its strong exposure to gold in Victoria, the combination of the two businesses will make Mitchell Services one of the largest and most diversified drilling service providers in Australia.
