The system automates a traditionally labour-intensive, time-consuming and expensive rig alignment procedure to provide instant alignment true north readings, with live readout whether operated on the surface or underground.

Devico claimed that the DeviAligner is using a north-seeking gyro system with one of the fastest settling times available. With compact and rugged plug-and-play functionality, it is easily used to align drills and collars wherever the project is located.

The system is particularly suitable for underground and remote areas for tunnelling and mineral-exploration drilling projects.
