BDA's BIM seminar comes to London

All current major construction projects are using building information modelling (BIM) as an aid to ‘knowledge management'. BIM provides the platform to ensure that project changes are carefully logged and that all of those concerned are using current, up-to-date project information.

At this event you will hear more about how the digital data produced by the geotechnical sector can interact with BIM systems, focussing on what is possible today and what is likely to happen in the medium term.

The speaker line-up includes Roger Chandler, Keynetix; Greg Adamson, Alcontrol Laboratories; Romain Arnould, Fugro; Dr Derek Egan, Remedy Geotechnics; Neil Chadwick, Arup; and Jon Kerby, HS2.

The event is being held at the Geological Society on January 14 at 1pm-5.30pm, followed by a networking drink and canapé reception among the trade exhibitions in the library.
