Weighing less than 1,500lbs and measuring 34in wide and 72in long, MAZL can be transported in the bed of most light pick-up trucks and fits through any standard fence openings or doorways.
"MAZL was originally designed to install NEPS, our tree care technology," said Frank Muller, CEO of Exlterra. "But with its powerful drilling performances wrapped in a pocket-size, we realised we have also filled a gap in the ultra-light and small rig market. I anticipate strong demand from utility, fencing, and bollard companies for MAZL."
As with all Exlterra's technologies, safety is the top priority, which is why MAZL has a standing driver's position that provides a high vantage point for maximum visibility while manoeuvring. MAZL features the unique Exlterra telescopic tower, a one-of-a-kind hydraulic system, running on an eco-friendly 14hp Kohler engine.
MAZL is the second drill rig added to the Exlterra drill rig line after HAZL in 2017.
